Today it's all about the kitty cat love! I can hear my mom groaning already (she's allergic), but I have to admit that I find it all pretty darn adorable.

Deborah specializes in cute, cuddly kitties in art prints and notecards that are just plain fun. Need to send a note to an animal loving friend? Birthday greetings? You can find just the thing right here!

Yes, there are non-kitty images too... but my favorites always run toward the cuddly critter variety. If yours don't? There's still plenty to see in Deborah's shop.

Whodunit & Sweet Transvestite Treasuries

Image
There's nothing like a mystery  treasury, and this is a great one! Whodunit? Honestly, I don't know, but I do know that I'm thrilled to have my Barbie Murders 04 4x6 Print included in the mix. There are some seriously rockin' items here (just check out that vintage Clue game!), and I think it is officially not to be missed.

Like something a little more out there? Let there be lips! The Sweet Transvestite treasury will satisfy you or your favorite Rocky Horror fan thoroughly. You might get strung out by the way it looks... but you'll enjoy it ;)

Treasuries galore!

Image
Putting 'em all in one entry since... wow! I've been blown away by all of these! Thank you all soooo much!

First off is the Shout it Out Loud and Clear treasury. This treasury showcases gorgeous items in orange and red tones. Very eye catching and some super excellent finds! My Red and Orange Magnets are featured.

Then MAB featured my Jacksboro Drive In Vanishing Texas shot in her gorgeous Sweet Sunday Afternoon treasury. It is sweet indeed with lovely items and soft, calming colors.

Then the Gold Dotted Hoop Earrings from Tacky Fab were featured in one of the more creatively themed treasuries I've seen yet. The West Side Storybook is absolutely stunning. I'm in love with half the items in it - so cool!

And last but certainly not least, my Crimson & White postcard appears in the wonderfully red Stark Intensity treasury. If you like bright, saturated color, this is the place to be!

Now this is the place to go for gifts. You know the kind: that one relative who you're NEVER sure what to buy for. Well, you'll find it here. Whatever it is, you'll find it. Because Kris's shop is filled with adorable little items that are low cost but high on cute factor.

She offers a wide range of bookmarks (something I'm more than slightly addicted to) in everything from faux antique looks to modern curves to die cut shapes.

And if you do get them as a gift? She also sells gift tags to use when giving your purchase away... if you can bear to part with it.

Coconut Palm Designs Blog Feature

Image
Coconut Palm Designs (aka Joanne) has been kind enough to feature my Vanishing Texas photos on her blog. I'm super honor and thrilled that she enjoyed the shots enough to want to feature them! Please stop by the blog and let her know that you enjoyed the feature :)

WWBD & Simplicity Treasuries

Image
My Angel Up Close illustration is in what is officially one of my fave treasuries ever. A Buffy treasury!!!!!! Ahem. Specifically, the WWBD? (What Would Buffy Do) Treasury put together by Craft Chicks. I must now go fave things and click things to my heart's content, and I hope you'll do the same!

And then my Small Sterling Silver Band (currently on sale) made it into the Simpler treasury by 672miles, which makes this my first treasury with an item from Tacky Fab. Yay! Please check this one out, especially if you like items that recall a simpler, quieter kind of life.

Favorites Friday: Geektastic

This Friday it's time to get your geek on. What are your favorite geeky items on Etsy?

Manic Monday: Cat's Paw Artifacts

As a huge fan of beaded jewelry, this shop was right up my alley. Whether you want to wear them or just look at them, there's absolutely no way not to be struck by the beauty of the collars and chokers.  If you want something simpler, there's also a bevvy of lovely handmade beads and some classy, understated jewelry  pieces as well.

I love a blog that lets you really get to know the author and hers most definitely does that. You can read about everything from crafting and Etsy features to politics, books and movies. Besides, any fan of Betty White is a friend of mine :)

And then of course there's the destash shop, Beads U Need, for those who need to grab some supplies. I do love people who share their extras with the rest of us because there's always cool stuff to be found!

Triple Treasuries

Image
My Barbie Murders 05 4"x6" print has been included in innovationdesign's lovely Unique treasury. The colors are soft and beautiful and the items chosen are just plain lovely. Please take a moment to stop in, leave a comment, and check out some of the great selections!

My Lord of the Rings bookmarks are also currently gracing the awesome Lord of the Rings Fans treasury, which is curated by Spring Showers and is an absolute fannish dream. There's so much geeky goodness here that it's hard to know where to start, but you should definitely try!

And since this is apparently my week for rockin' treasuries, my Deep Red Magnets are also included in the Bubbling Brandy treasury put together by trinitydj. This is an awesome collection of reds and purples that is tons of fun, so check it out!

Favorites Friday

It's Friday, so I'm going to share my Etsy favorites. I'd love it if you guys would reply with a link to one or two of your faves! My shocking revelation while searching for favorites this week? There are tons of sushi shirts for babies and kids, but only a couple for adults. So get on it, people! :D

Beautiful Buttons

Image
Basically this is just me showing off all the vintage buttons I got at the estate sale this past weekend. No point but to go "AWESOME!" and let you guys share my joy :)

But what do YOU think?

That's exactly what I want to know. I know what I think, I know what I like... but you guys are the ones watching, the ones buying, the ones who keep me sane throughout the day by responding to my Tweets. heh

Now I want to know what you think. What's working well? What would you like to see more of? You can tell me about items you think are missing from my shops (including requests for things you'd like to see in terms of genre, type, etc.) or stuff you'd like to see more of on my blog or Twitter. I'm really open to any thoughts and suggestions... though try to be constructive and not mean. I'm not fragile, but nobody likes people being mean, right?

So have at it, folks! Let me know what YOU think!

Manic Monday: A-knit-thing & Meet Me Monday!

A-knit-thing

This is going to be mostly pictures because frankly, what really gets me about this shop is that it's a flat-out explosion of cute. Cutegasm! So please enjoy looking at these precious little knit critters as much as I did, and stop by to show the artist some love.

1. What is your favorite Fast Food Restaurant?
Golden Chick - I'm totally addicted to their fried catfish. Yummy!

2. If given a complete freedom to start afresh, what profession would you choose and why?
I'd probably try to rework things to be able to do my art and crafting full time... but, honestly, I'm a graphic designer, and I love my "day job" too :)

3. Do you prefer your toilet paper to come over the roll or under the roll?
Over, though as long as it's on the roll, I'm not gonna complain too much.

4. What was your favorite tv show as a child?
Depending on age: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Monkees, and She-Ra :D

5. What is your favorite Summer drink?
This is where…

Three Bloody Good Treasuries

Image
My Barbie Murders 04 Postcard (seriously, somebody buy this one up!) was included in KnotOriginal's super cute Who Done It Treasury. I love crime-related treasuries, so I'm always excited when I get included in one. So much fun! Please check it out.

Then to continue the fun, leelu and piggy included my Crimson & White 2 print in her awesomely sexy Blood Lust Treasury. If you're a fan of red or vampires or both, you can't miss it!

And I was lucky enough for my Barbie Murders bookmarks to get included in  the Psycho Killer treasury by VintageEye. There's a lot of fun pieces in this one that I'd never seen before, so if you enjoy a bit of the macabre, check it out!

Estate Sale Scores

Image
While we were driving home after my papau's memorial service the other day, we saw an estate sale and, being people who love finding cool old stuff, we stopped. I'm so glad we did even though the puppies were pissed about having to wait (see Sophie lurking behind the items and plotting their demise?).

I got a few new gorgeous vintage pins that I can't decide whether to keep or sell, a new scarf that is MINE, two huge glass jars (with clear glass tops!) full of vintage buttons (also totally MINE), Old Spice hair stuff from forever ago that's still like new in the little jars, a vintage box full of shoe laces, and a bunch of watches to take apart so Wes can experiment making steampunk jewelry. All in all? We scored BIG, and I'm so excited to play with everything!
