First off, our winner from last week's awesome giveaway is : Megan! The Halloween Queen will be in touch with you about your win soon :)

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
I got started selling online in about 2006.  I wanted to make handmade, crocheted hats & scarves available to a handmade market.  I realized that the hats I made were comparable to the ones sold at chain stores but I liked the idea of the hand of the artist giving the hat directly to the buyer.  Not it being mass made in another country. I also got loads of compliments on wearing my own hats!

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop(s)?
My favorite piece in my shop is the Retro Yellow Pom Hat.  I love that it reminds me of ice skating & the pom on top!

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
I have sold on Ebay for 5 years now, but felt it lacked the creativity for artists. Etsy is such a great network and more openminded, wonderful and talented.

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop(s)?
My favorite piece in my shop is my zombie finger, it is a departure from the everyday candle and the realism makes it fantastic!

What's the most important thing that you've learned through your experience selling and promoting yourself online?
The most important thing I have learned from selling online is patience. Just because you don't sell every single day doesn't mean it won't happen. Get the word out, and keep trying , what isn't someones thing will be Perfect for someone else.

What is your favorite quote (funny, inspirational - anything!)?
My favorite quote …

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
It has got to be where we came from - Singapore! It is too small to accommodate our products without risking us being seen everywhere. Selling online is a means of us going global and we thought that good things are meant to be shared so here we are!

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop(s)?
It is definitely our tree inspired handmade accessories hanger! They are original designs and unlike other conventional accessories hanger, they retain the level of realness in texture of a real twig! How is that for an "undying" sense of nature in one's home with a modern splash of colour :)

What's the most important thing that you've learned through your experience selling and promoting yourself online?
It has definitely got to be treating people with sincerity and great communication! Treating everyone with sincerity and maintaining great communicat…

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
I am really new to selling online but it has always intrigued me. The idea of “reaching out”, of surpassing geographical constraints was what got me hooked with the whole idea in the first place. I would spend hours browsing the web for other artists’ online stores admiring their work while dreaming about opening mine. That vague dream started slowly evolving to an actual plan and…here I am.

But it took me quite a while to get here. I could go on for hours saying that that I didn’t have enough time to invest in online selling; that my day job kept me way to busy etc. But the truth -from a psychologist’s point of view (that’s my educational and professional background) - is that as a perfectionist I was pretty reluctant to “expose” myself out there. I would find all sorts of excuses: “my pictures are not good enough”, “figuring shipping cost is complicated”, “I do…
