What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
I started by just tinkering around embellishing clothes for my 2 kids. There aren't a whole lot of options out there when it comes to shopping for boys clothing and I really wanted to reflect their own personalities with what they wear. I was encouraged by friends to open up a shop, I did... and the rest is history.

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop?
Oh, this is always hard for me. The monster truck design holds a special place in my heart, it was the first design I made for the boys and has been one of my best sellers. I also love any of the Mama Skirts- once I pull them off the machine it is really hard for me to sell them... I secretly give them a mental expiration date and if they don't sell I get to keep them!!

Doctor Who Design Updates

Image
Merry X-Terminate, originally uploaded by wildemoon.
I will, hopefully over the next few months, be updating a lot of my Doctor Who designs to move from the photos currently used to vectors, paintings, etc. instead. That was always my intention, and I'd simply never set aside the time to get it done. So if you want the designs as they are currently, head over to Power Ups and grab your prints and such while they're hot! :)

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
I want to work for myself. I decided to tell me friends and family so I didn't chicken out then I went for it.

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop?
I love the clockwork owls, they are really fun to make and they are very pretty and cute to wear.

What's the most important thing that you've learned through your experience selling and promoting yourself online?
I've learned that no matter what don't let things get you down. Once I start feeling blue because of lack of sales or views I start to lose my drive then it becomes a vicious circle. You've got to keep the positive energy flowing.

What is your favorite quote?
"At some point, you have to make a decision. Boundaries don't keep other people out. They fence them in. So, you can waste your life drawing lines. Or you can live your life cross…

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
My daughter loves Etsy and kept suggesting that I put my jewelry on there. Since she agreed to help out on the tech end with uploading the photos and listing the items for me I decided to go ahead and just jump in! We live states apart, so it's great that we can do something together likes from so far away.

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop(s)?
My favorite piece is the plum purple and green boro and sterling silver bracelet. The beads are exquisite and the pictures do not show just how stunning they are, the rich color and the texture, lots of sterling silver and will be something you can wear anywhere with anything!

Also, I love any of the shell shaped lampwork beads. They are gorgeous and remind me of the beach!

What got you started with selling online? What inspired you to put yourself out there?
Well.... :) this is a hard question to answer because it's such a long story but i'd have to say my mom! She always wanted to teach me how to knit and crochet. I never wanted to because like most young children I had my mind set on other things, but later on in life I became so interested in the arts I just couldn't wait any longer. I begged her to teach me and together we decided to open a small shop on etsy :) I truly am addicted to etsy, that website is addicting!

What is your absolute favorite piece in your shop(s)?
OOO another toughy! Although I love them all my all time fave is the OOAK Morbid Pumpkin Pie Headband :) Its so unique and I love the contrast with my skin color and hair. And it reminds me of the holidays too.
