Tunes Tuesday: "Amie" by Pure Prairie League

Ninjas and Neon and Aerobics - oh my!

For those of you who aren't lucky enough to know already, one of my favorite art studios out there is Shonuff Studio. This comes not just from how long I've known the creators but because they always put out work that is beautiful and creative and FUN.

After sooooo much work, they are finally putting out their very own comic, but they could use some help funding the printing of future issues. What can you do to help? Contribute to their Kickstarter! This is a fantastic way to not only help out independent comic creators but also get some pretty amazing perks in return.
Help make sure that Aerobicide and its star Sheri Ken keep fighting evil for a long, long time and throw a few dollars toward Shonuff's Kickstarter!

This is what you could call a cheap ass cosplay. It took very little time and very little money to put together - which also makes it an easy favorite. There are a million ways you could dress it up and change it to your needs too, which is a double plus. And Rogue from X-Men is a fantastic character, plus a southern belle, which I am too even if I don't have the accent to prove it.
It all started with this dress, which I fell in love with right away. I was in a rush to get something serviceable thrown together before Dragon Con a few years back, so I quickly ordered these tights, not even realizing they didn't have feet. Oops! That said, if you go more classic with your costuming and wear boots, it won't matter much, and they were very soft. I went for comfort with tennis shoes since it was the last day of the convention and my feet were as tired as the rest of me. I have since purchased some…

Gothic Homemaking Episode One - Size Matters

This entertained me so much that I had to share. Most of you already know that I'm a little in love with Voltaire. Okay, maybe a lot. Stop judging me, he's amazing. If you, like me, enjoy funny YouTube stuff or really wanna make your own personal lair more goth, this is the place to start. Halloween is the perfect time of year to get on gothing your home up.

Tunes Tuesday: "That's the Way That the World Goes Round" John Prine & Stephen Colbert

I've been listening to John Prine all my life, and given my love of Stephen Colbert, this makes me crazy happy.
